ANIMATOR Festival and Cartoon Saloon, five-time Academy Award®, Golden Globe®, BAFTA and Emmy nominated animation studio based in Kilkenny, cordially invite you to a meeting with Andrzej Radka and Niamh Moyles to have a chat about their work in the animation industry.
Andrzej Radka began his career in animated film in 1989, working for Hanna Barbera Poland in Bielsko-Biała, where he worked as animation assistant, animator and with layout posing. Since 2008, he has worked on 17 feature films and several short films, 7 of which have been nominated for an Oscar. Among others: the aforementioned Secret of Kells, Song of the Sea, Ernest and Celestine, Chico & Rita, Late Afternoon, The Breadwinner and Wolfwalkers. Since 2019 he has been employed at Cartoon Saloon as an animation supervisor. In this role, he worked on the feature film My Fathers Dragon, directed by Nore Twomey, and Paul Young’s Screechers Reach, an episode of Star Wars Visions 2.
Niamh Moyles is an Irish animation and voice actress. Who has worked in Cartoon Saloon for over 10 years. Some of her previous roles include Moho rigger on Puffin Rook TV series, voice actress on the Oscar nominated short film ‘Late Afternoon’, compositing artist on Pete the cat Amazon series, Child voice coach on the Wolf Walkers feature film, Clean animation artist on My Fathers Dragon feature film and voice actress on the Star Wars visions short Screechers Reach.
