Wynalazca Flint Lockwood myślał, że uratował świat, niszcząc swój najbardziej niesławny patent – Replikator Żywności, czyli maszynę zamieniającą wodę w pożywienie, która, choć wydaje się bardzo użyteczna, rozpętała niewyobrażalne i katastrofalne w skutkach zjawiska pogodowe. Okazuje się jednak, że urządzenie przetrwało i teraz produkuje z jedzenia i zwierząt hybrydy zwane „jerzętami”. Flint i jego przyjaciele ruszają na smakowitą przygodę. Muszą pokonać głodne takodyle, szympagrysy, hipomniaki, tarantoburgery i inne dziwne stworzenia, by raz jeszcze ocalić świat przed niechybną zagładą!

Inventor Flint Lockwood thought he had saved the world by destroying his most infamous inventionv- the Food Replicator, a machine that turns water into food. Although incredibly useful in theory, it unleashed unimaginable and catastrophic weather phenomena. However, it turns out the device survived and is now creating hybrids of food and animals called “foodimals.” Flint and his friends set off on a delicious adventure. They must face off against hungry tacodiles, tigershrimp, hippotatoes, taranturgers, and other bizarre creatures to save the world from certain doom once again!
